#41: Pretty Little Things

Four girlfriends and I spent an afternoon at Parnell. The place was overflowing with quaint little things that reminded me of certain things. Like the photograph above makes me think of Wendy’s house in Peter Pan.IMG_7680 copy
And Cinderella.

This reminded me of Alice in Wonderland.IMG_7682

This on the other hand, makes me think of Japan.

Butterscotch submarino drink which came with a free chocolate mint and I too bought  Irish Baily Cream liqueur chocolate, liqueur cherry bomb and rum ball.

Anyway, the point of our afternoon down at Parnell besides strolling was to grab some bites and drinks from the Chocolate Boutique, one of the most famous places for a drink of hot chocolate. Price is fairly reasonable, like at least $4.00 for a cup of hot chocolate. Chocolates might be a bit pricey though, around $1.50 per piece.

Fish in a bowl. That was literally the name of the drink, a chocolate coated strawberry marshmallow fish in hot chocolate with vanilla ice cream and chocolate flakes.IMG_7718
One good thing about their hot chocolate is that it’s the right balance of chocolate and milk so it isn’t too sickeningly rich.IMG_7727
Praline cheesecake.

Anyway, #41: The white handbag and the altered dress.

The blue dress was on sale for a really good bargain and I quite liked it but unfortunately, there were only Size 12s and 14s left. I am a regular Size 6 to 8. Nevertheless, it was such a nice piece so I bought it and it took me a grueling hour or two to alter it on my own to fit my size.

Cod fish, shrimp, tofu and kimchi stew.

Unfortunately, I had to leave early for church. Dinner after church was Korean food but this time, we tried a new Korean restaurant. The food was rather bland to my taste.IMG_7759
