Once again, I managed to grab a couple of last chance to buy items for really good prices. Winter sales are awesome. Faux fur coats were on sale for $20. Not that I bought one, they are too fuzzy for my liking. By the end of the day, I had two skirts, two belts, a top and a dress.

Quiche and Caesar salad for lunch at some organic delicatessen and café down at Newmarket. IMG_7835
Grilled chicken with pesto. The chicken was rather tough but probably since they use only free range chickens.

Giant bacon and cheese scone which I found rather delicious, especially with a cup of hot green tea for evening tea.

Later in the evening, we popped over to the Chocolate Boutique (yes, again) to have evening tea. Those were some really fluffy waffles with vanilla ice cream and maple syrup.IMG_7869
Passion fruit parfait.

Another of my interesting purchases of not-very-useful items which I dub as decorations, a handcrafted and carved quill made in Italy from this little shop owned by a Scandinavian lady.IMG_7926
Home cooked steak for dinner.

I made salad for dinner and I overestimated, ending up with a bowl of salad enough to feed eight people.IMG_7901
And the day ended.
