Controversial Blogging

To condemn or be condemned? That question goes along with controversial blogging. Nobody can possibly choose the lesser of the two evil. Of course, I am not talking about blogging about major controversial topics such as government politics, racism and gender discrimination. Even blogging about the simplest things such your opinion on a particularly not-very coquettish celebrity, a lousy breed of dogs and so forth, can lead you into a porcelain bowl of boiling hot water can be labeled as 'minor controversial posts'.

Debates over digital content often occurs especially in blogs. Infuriated readers attempt to condemn the blogger by leaving hate comments or simply publishing their own backlash post, in hopes that the blogger perishes from severe consequences from voicing his or her opinion on a particular issue. Take for example Balderdash. The question here is, are these hate contents a simple act to pull the blogger back to the right path or simply just to stubborn reinforce ones' own stand without taking any factual evidence into consideration? The second question would be, what good can these sort of condemnations do? Is it for the better or the worst?

It also seems that one is not allowed to voice his or her opinion in general way even without any addition of flavoring and colouring as this commonly leads to a public outrage. Is this so because of the fear of certain groups that their reputations will come crumbling around them in clouds of dust? Well, the government takes legal action against bloggers who take their freedom of speech to a level way over the top in their major controversial posts, to maintain peace and harmony in the country. However, what about these sort of minor controversial posts that I am talking about? These actions that the public take by crashing in on hate content are classified under...what? I simply can't come up with a category for these sort of 'opinion control'.

Hence, it seems like the only solution to avoid persecution from the public is to restrain from voicing what really runs through our brains. Truth is that most bloggers being silently watched for everything that they post about.

The blogosphere is merely a puppet stage and the bloggers are the puppets.

I shall continue no further.
